This work was developed in extension of Balled Up (2015-2016), which was a full-length work that arose out of Ashley’s creative research during her integration of clown into her dance practice. 

​

This work extended themes of separate-ness and together-ness, moving away from competitive gender roles and looking at fluidity of identity through performance. The group created vocal and movement scores that were highlighted through a blend of popular culture references.
